What: GSC Response to Institute Planning Task Force

-  The response (link below) is the result of the discusion that occured a the October General Council Meeting.

-  The response focuses on four issues of key importance to Graduate Students.

-  Four issues:  TA Cost Abatement, Size of graduate population, Time-to-completion, and 3+2 Masters Programs

Alumni Dinner Series (formerly Two Dollar Tuesday)

What:      Informal Dinner with John T. Santini, Jr., Ph.D. - MIT alumnus and and President & CEO of MicroCHIPS, Inc.

When:     Tuesday, November 17, 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Where:    Morss Hall (1st Floor of Walker Memorial)

- Tickets for the dinner cost $2 for MIT graduate students and up to one guest

- The Alumni Dinner Series provides an informal opportunity to hear from and mingle with young, local MIT alumni

- John will share his experience taking technology from whiteboard concepts to development at a venture-backed company

- There are no refunds if you cancel and/or do not show up, and food is not guaranteed after 6:30 PM.
