Officer Elections for 2009-2010
It is with great pleasure that I introduce the 2009-2010 GSC Officers, as elected on April 1, 2009:
Alex Hamilton Chan, President Kevin McComber, Vice-President Chuck Gammal, Secretary Nan Gu, Treasurer
I am excited by the combination of talents on this new team. I fully expect that they will make the following year an exceptionally productive one. In terms of the rest of the leadership team, we still have one additional election (for co-Chairs for the committee on Academics, Research & Careers) on April 7 to fill out the full slate of Committee Chair slots, after which I will be able fully to introduce the new members of the 2009-2010 Executive Committee. For the whole team, April is a month of information- and knowledge-transfer, and the members of the new Executive Committee, including the Officers, officially take office on May 6.
Sincerely, Oaz Nir GSC President, 2008-2009
