2010 Winter Ski Trip Brought to you by the GSC and the MIT Snowriders Join the GSC and the MIT Snowriders during IAP (January 21 - 24, 2010) for the 13th annual Winter Ski Trip! The trip is open to all MIT graduate students, post docs, and up to 1 guest per student/post doc. | Ticket Sales will be Thursday December 3rd, 2010. We will offer 270 tickets at noon and another 270 tickets at 8pm. Last year the 540 tickets sold out in less than three hours so be on time to book your spot. | General Trip Information: Meet at 5:15pm on Thursday, January 21, 2010 and return the evening of Sunday, January 24, 2010 at about 9:00pm. The trip includes: - 3 nights of slopeside lodging
- 3 days (8/9am - 4pm) of skiing at Sunday River
- 2 evenings (4pm - 9pm) of skiing on Friday and Saturday (not available on Sunday)
- 3 free Perfect Turn Group Lessons (for anyone but first time skiers)
- Friday evening apres ski at the Foggy Goggle (with drink & food specials, raffles for skis!)
- Friday night party with live cover band (more raffle prizes!)
- Saturday night party at the Phoenix. Free cover!
- On-campus rental fittings (date TBD, Johnson Athletic Center Lobby) and group rental discount
- Special Thursday night rental pickup at Sunday River (so you can hit the slopes first thing Friday morning!)
- Commemorative t-shirt
- Round-trip bus transportation
All of this for only $255 TBD! If you have a New England season pass, then the trip is cheaper! $168. You must have bought your season pass already to qualify.
