Make a Difference on the Graduate Student Council!

On January 20, 2015, by admin

Are you interested in making a difference at MIT? Do you want to have a say in a $500,000-a-year budget? Do you have an opinion on issues like Fossil-Free MIT? Then represent your department as a Graduate Student Council Representative!

The Graduate Student Council is a student-run, ever-changing community with 61 years of history and council representatives from every department. These individuals represent their respective constituencies before the General Council and serve as a communication channel between their constituents and the greater graduate student government.

For more details on the council representative position,

  1. View an overview of the position.
  2. Check that there is an open position in your department.
  3. Collect signatures from at least twenty members or twenty percent (whichever is less) of your constituency on our validation form.
  4. Fill out your application online.

We’re looking forward to having you serve as part of the GSC family!

Sincerely,
GSC Officers and Executive Committee
