Important Updates

January 19, 2012: Are you EXCITED?! This is the weekend you’ve all been waiting for. Please note that as per the latest email we sent to registered participants, the bus timing has been moved earlier by one hour on Friday. We’ll depart at 4:45 pm from Audrey St, so show up at 4:15 pm and don’t be late. See you soon!

January 6, 2012: We hope you had a relaxing holiday break! Please note that the location for the equipment fitting has been changed to the lobby of the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center (still 1-6 PM on Jan 12).

December 5, 2011: 600 students can ask a lot of questions. We’ve received many emails and have compiled answers to representative questions. Before you contact us, please make sure your question hasn’t already been answered before, and then if you still need to ask your question, please do it on the Q&A forum if possible, so that the answer can be of benefit to everybody. The Q&A part of the Snowriders forum can be found at https://snowriders.scripts.mit.edu:444/forums/viewforum.php?f=18 and requires sign-up or an MIT certificate. Thanks for your cooperation.

December 3, 2011: We’re officially sold out of all 600 tickets. See you all in January when we take over the mountain! Until then, if you bought a ticket, we have your email and will keep you posted. Please note that the deadline to change your supergroup, group, bedshare names is now Dec 16, 2011. You can potentially sell/exchange your ticket until Jan 6, 2012, but whoever takes your ticket will likely have to use your original group assignment.

November 29, 2011: If you’re seeing the page that asks for a pre-registration code, it’s because we sold out for Round 2 already, sorry. Please come back for Round 3. Thanks!

November 21, 2011: There will now be three rounds of ticket sales. The information has been changed below to reflect this, so please make sure you read the instructions carefully.

Also, please note the additional option of bed sharing preferences this year. Please use the following format when typing in your group name: “supergroup, group, bedshare”. More info in the Frequently Asked Questions.

Ticket Sales

  1. Monday, November 28 @ 12 pm until 9 pm
    • This sale is for SELF-TRANSPORT ONLY. That is, people buying either of the two packages described below with NO BUS TICKET.
    • A maximum of 60 of these tickets will be sold. If you don’t get one, you can still get a package with a bus ticket in Round 2 or 3.
  2. Tuesday, November 29 @ 12 pm until Round 3
    • This sale is for either of the two packages described below including a bus ticket. In previous years this has been the only type of package available.
    • A maximum of 270 of these tickets will be sold during this round. If you don’t get one (expect these to sell out very fast), please try Round 3.
    • If you get a bus ticket package, you can elect not to use it and transport yourself, but then that bus seat goes to waste. Please be sustainable.
  3. Thursday, December 1 @ 7 pm until Friday, December 2 @ 5 pm
    • Same as Round 2. Up to 270 more tickets with a bus seat will be made available, and that’s it!
