Feedback for GSC officers?

The GSC functions best when information and feedback flows freely so that issues can be clarified and corrected quickly. As such, the GSC wants to strongly encourage any students who have feedback for the GSC to directly send that feedback to the GSC Officers (gsc-officers@mit.edu).

However, the GSC recognizes that it is not always easy to attach your name to feedback, particularly if the feedback is about specific members of the GSC, including the Officers. As such, the GSC encourages the use of the following 3 different resources/avenues for anonymous feedback.

  1. An anonymous feedback form: https://forms.gle/JrgiCVtZ97n1NBS39
  2. Contact iREFS at irefs-contact@mit.edu. iREFS (institute-wide Resources for Easing Friction and Stress) are graduate students formally trained and certified in conflict management skills. They are a confidential resource and are operationally independent from the GSC.
  3. Contact the MIT Ombuds Office at 617-253-5921 or email their Program Coordinator, Kalina Schloneger at kalina_s@mit.edu. The Ombuds Office is a confidential and independent resource for all MIT community members. You can read more about them on their website: https://ombudsoffice.mit.edu/

iREFS and the MIT Ombuds provide routes for clarifying questions to be asked and answered while maintaining anonymity.
