gwaMIT — Graduate Womxn at MIT

Mentoring Program

The gwaMIT Mentoring Program matches graduate womxn with successful womxn professors and alumni who can provide professional and/or personal advice.

Each fall, gwaMIT Mentoring hosts a beginning-of-term dinner for mentors and mentees. At this dinner, groups meet for the first time and decide on guidelines for the mentoring relationship. Groups are required to meet once a month for at least a semester. We hold another group dinner at the end of the spring semester. The mentoring program serves over 50 mentoring groups, with over 100 mentees.
